Fanny is a super cute sorrel mare that is bred in the purple. She stands 14 hands with a big hip, short back, and baby doll head. Fanny is extremely broke to ride and as gentle as they make them. Fanny has been apart of our family for the last year, and one of our favorite horses in the barn. She is willing to learn and has a sweet personality. Fanny has solid lope departures, and is loping collected circles on a loose rein. She is soft in the face and ribcage, has a huge stop, and is turning around correctly. Fanny has a lot of self carriage, and has a really cool way of hunting the ground. She really rides of your seat well and has very nice speed transitions. She has had a great foundation and will make a very versatile horse. She is solid on the Heel o Matic, and has also been roping lead steers in the arena. This mare is very talented on a cow, and could really go in any direction. She is on her way to make a super nice heel and break away horse, as well as a ranch versatility and ranch riding horse. Despite her age she is gentle enough for anyone to ride including youth. We have also ridden her many miles outside, where she will cross any obstacle and has no spook on the trail. We have had the opportunity to own & ride this mare’s full brother as well as many siblings by Some Kinda Okie from Larry Grimes and loved every one of them. This young mare has quality to her, with a lot of shape and style. She is ready to go in whatever direction you choose. Good to saddle, bathe and clip.
